Nick Adam Lemley, 32
Nick Adam Lemley, 32, of Columbia City passed away 2:57 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at his residence.
Born July 28, 1977 in Fort Knox, Kentucky, he was the son of Kenneth L. and Michele M. (Hedrington) Lemley, Jr.
He has spent most of his lifetime in Columbia City, except for a brief time in Sturgis, Michigan, and 3 years in Churubusco. He graduated from Columbia City High School with the Class of 1996 and first worked at Essex Wire, Columbia City and then at C&A Tool, Churubusco as a CNC machinist.
He was of the Catholic faith, loved camping with his children and family, hunting, fishing and working with his hands.
Survivors include his three children, Alexus Rae Lemley, Huntertown, Anthony Conrad Lemley and Kaylee Dawn Lemley both of Churubusco; parents, Kenneth L. Lemley, Jr., Churubusco and Michele M. Lemley, Columbia City; a sister, Heather Machlan, Columbia City; 3 brothers, Kenneth L. III, George A. and Gary M. Lemley all of Columbia City; three nephews, Michael and Christopher Machlan and Kenneth Lemley, IV all of Columbia City.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Therese Coleman and grandfather, Kenneth Lemley, Sr.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 from 3-5 p.m. at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City, with funeral services following calling at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Marion Carpenter of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Warsaw, officiating. Memorial gifts may be given in Mr. Lemley's memory to his children's education fund. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
