Christopher Lane Oliver 

Congratulations to Aaron Marion and Misty (Cowdin) Oliver of Columbia City on the birth of their first child, a son, Christopher Lane Oliver.

Christopher was born February 8, 2009, at 9:43 a.m. in Dupont Hospital in Fort Wayne.

At birth, he weighed 9 pounds 13 ounces and was 21 1/3 inches in length.

Grandparents include Danny R. & Jayne (Mullendore) Oliver, Kay F. (Rothgeb) Cowdin and Douglas A. Cowdin, all of Columbia City.

Great-grandparents include Mary Rothgeb, Robert Leas and Beverly Oliver.

Baby Christopher is also blessed to have several excited uncles and an aunt, including John Cowdin, Joseph Oliver and Danielle Oliver.

Graham Henry Alles Smith

Scott and Jessica (Alles) Smith of Columbia City are pleased to announce the birth of their seventh child, a son, Graham Henry Alles Smith.

Graham was born December 30, 2008, at 8:01 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

At birth, he weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 18 inches in length.

Graham’s name was chosen by his older brother A.J. who had lovingly welcomed five sisters into his life before finally getting the brother he had been praying for.

Graham was welcomed home by his brother A.J., age 8, triplet sisters Arianna, Isabella and Sophia, all age 6, Naomi, age 3, and Adelaide, age 2.

Proud grandparents include Larry and Pat Alles of Columbia City and Bob and Bonnie Smith of Chelsea, Michigan.

Graham’s great-grandmother is Anna Mae Alles of Fort Wayne.
