Whitley County native Roy Sexton is again wowing audiences in Michigan in his latest leading role in the Spotlight Players production of “Pajama Game.”

Sexton performs Whitley County native now living the Detroit area and has landed a leading role in the as Sid and castmate Lauren London is Babe. The production continues for the next two weekends, including evening performances at 8 p.m. on May 1 & 2 and May 8 & 9, and a matinee on May 3 at 2 p.m.

This revival of the fifties Broadway success, transformed into a rollicking film starring Doris Day and John Raitt, remains timely and refreshing.  Featured familiar tunes range from the romantic standard "Hey There" to the tango-tinged "Hernando's Hideaway" and sultry "Steam Heat".  Garment factories, like our Blue Bell, Inc., never seemed quite this much fun! Remember the American-based textile industry?  Those were the days!  Orchestra-accompanied, the cast of Metro-Detroit area native talents enchants and surprises via ultimate professionalism and limitless energy.

Stunning, happy, and highly recommended. For further information, call: 734-394-5460 or go to:  www.spotlightplayersmi.org Tickets are $15-$18 and a discount is available if you purchase your tickets via the website.

Locally, contact Don Sexton at 244-4999 or Susie Sexton at 248-4143. Several local residents have already attended performances last weekend and others may be interested in carpooling to attend upcoming shows.
