"I look forward to learning more indepth information about the history of the county," Maley said. She is also excited about the opportunity to put into practice the focus of her studies for the past several years.

A lifelong resident of Columbia City, Maley enjoys reading and traveling in her spare time. Brandon Porter
Brandon was recently promoted to the position of assistant director of Camp Whitley for the summer of 2008.
Porter was a seven year camper, has been a counselor for 5 years and served as program director last year. He also was voted as the Counselor of the Year for two consecutive years.
“Brandon’s experience at Camp Whitley and his undying love for what Camp gives to the campers are two of his biggest assets,” said Tara Brandon, director of Camp Whitley. “Of course, the campers will likely tell you it’s his dance moves, or his unbelievable ability to motivate his past teams that make him stand out from the crowd,” she adds. “Regardless, we are excited to have Brandon as part of the executive team for Camp Whitley!”
