Roy Sexton
Oakwood Healthcare Inc. in Dearborn, Michigan, has appointed Roy Sexton to a leadership role in directing the health care system’s communications and planning.
In October 2007, Sexton was appointed corporate director of strategic communications and planning a role that encompasses Oakwood’s marketing initiatives and campaigns, communication vehicles, market data analysis and certificate of need regulations. Together with Oakwood executive leadership, Sexton has supported the development of the company’s recently launched mission, vision and values initiative.
Sexton is the son of Don and Susie Sexton of Columbia City and is a 1991 graduate of Columbia City Joint School. He received his masters of business administration from the University of Michigan - Flint in 2007, a masters of arts from Ohio State University in 1997 and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wabash College in Indiana. Sexton is a Rhodes Scholar finalist and has performed as lead actor in numerous theatrical productions. Sexton is a resident of Saline, Michigan.
Dani Tippmann
Whitley County resident Dani Tippmann has been selected as the new director of the Whitley County Historical Museum. Drawing on her Native American roots and considerable experience with history, Tippmann is looking forward to opening the museum during times that are convenient for families and working adults.
Tippmann has a Bachelor's Degree in General Studies from Indiana-Purdue University at Fort Wayne. She and her husband, Robert, are the parents of 10 children ranging in age from 8-28.
