Thanks for making young adults' dreams come true

Recently I was honored to be a part of a project that helped make dreams come true for some very deserving young adults. What began as a small idea, soon became a community effort that resulted in an overwhelming display of kindness and giving. I would like to take a moment to thank the following people who gave of themselves:  Dr. O’Conner, Gregg Goewert and the staff of Columbia City High School and Whitley County Consolidated Schools, Sandy Kohut and Circle of Friends, Jim Casaburo and the staff at Casa Mare restaurant, Phil Frauhiger and JC Penneys, JoAnn Downing who donated a hand-crotched afghan, Whitley County Community Foundation, and Tom O’Neil along with the staff at Passages. A special thanks goes to Margaret Saurin, Katie Fetterolf, Dave Leininger, Deb Straub, Talya Moore, and Meg Hicks for their support, time, and extra effort that made everything possible and such an awe-inspiring success.

Thank you,

Karen Koday

Columbia City High School Teacher
