Candidate thankful for community's support

Thank you to each of you who supported my campaign for County Council At-Large.  I am humbled by the help I received from family, friends and so many others along the way. You helped make this a great experience for me and Amanda over the past 10 months.
I know that with my election to the County Council comes a great deal of responsibility and I do not take lightly the confidence that the voters in Whitley County have placed in me.  The issues and challenges facing our county are important.  They require elected officials to work together to find solutions that protect our citizens and respect taxpayers – particularly during these tough economic times.  I will strive to make you proud through my service on the County Council.
Nothing has been more rewarding to me than to have many of you offer to help make my campaign successful.  Whether putting a yard sign in your yard, making phone calls, contributing money, or showing your support at the ballot box, your confidence in me is truly appreciated and humbling.  Thank you for your vote of confidence.  I will work hard to bring new leadership and another fiscal conservative voice to the county government.  Thank you again and God bless!
