Parkview Whitley Hospital's sleep lab hosting CPAP workshop on June 19

By Tricia Hennessy

Did you know that worn-out supplies might lead to ineffective CPAP treatment? The Parkview Whitley Hospital Sleep Lab is hosting a CPAP workshop on Thursday, June 19 from 2-5 p.m. in the seminar room at the hospital. Apria Healthcare is sponsoring this event.

A CPAP, or continuous positive airway pressure device, is used in treatment for those with diagnosed sleeping disorders. If you have not had your CPAP checked recently, come to this event where you can meet the staff, receive a complimentary CPAP pressure check and see new products that are currently available. Make sure to bring your CPAP device with power cord, mask/nasal apparatus and hose. Refreshments will be served.

The Parkview Whitley Hospital Sleep Clinic is dedicated to helping its patients overcome sleep disorders and enjoy the benefits of better rest. The Sleep Clinic is designed for those with narcolepsy, sleep apnea, and other disorders that lessen the quality or duration of their sleep. For more information, call 248-9555.
